This book was originally created during my time in France. I enjoy the outdoors and rock climbing and new this was going to be a project that I loved. With limited supplies, I created an interactive and informational book for tourists and rock climbers that visit Fontainebleau. Fontainebleau is the world's biggest outdoor rock climbing gym.

This book walks viewers through what they need to know for the first time they come here. Opening the book you get the chalk look on the rock and the grip of a finger hold that would be realistic. The image on the cover views as if the woman is climbing the rock texture. The first page gives a little introduction to what is going to be talked about. The next page shows the different levels, also converted to the standards at the gym. It also gives an informational page about the town that is nearby. A beautiful area that is also worth checking out.

The middle spread consists of a pop up of the four sectors that range over Fontainebleau. These sectors are Trois-Pignons, Cuvier, Apremont, and Franchard. Each part is divided and given a brief description at what is to be expected within the sector. Some are more beginner friendly than others. The next spread shown gives information on children activities and safety opportunities that are taken for them while still having fun. The page beside is a fun typographic image as a playful feel of the spread. The very last spread consists of a map of the four sectors with markers on where places are. An envelope is placed, inspired by geocaching, so visitors can keep track of when they've been there and who all has visited as a fun way to interact with the place.
