Savannah Bee Company is known for its rustic design and local honey. The original logo consists of three bees facing in a circle and typewriter style font. The main colors are a navy blue and cream color.

 

For my take on this company, I wanted to keep that rustic feeling. For the logo, many people that I talked to agreed that is was difficult to make out from far away and the smaller details got lost. Talking to the employees at the company, the three bees didn't have any significance, so I turned three into one with slightly less details so it can be viewed scaled down. The bee was placed on a hexagonal element to improve the clearness of the design and so that it could be noticeable as it is placed on any packaging design. The typography for the logo was chosen because of its rougher, but clean look that gives the home-style vibe. Dark brown was used as the main color of the company.

Packaging design was chosen carefully to create a better experience for the customer. Each jar has personalized design for the honey that it holds. A color is associated with each type of honey and is easy to spot from far away. On the back, information/a story is told to the customer about that specific honey so that customers know more about what they are buying. Additional design elements include hexagonal pattern and paper bag texture to add balance and unifies the rustic design.
